| Why I decide to start this Home stay program. In Sri Lanka we have nice ancient culture. Mainly our people are very freindly and not hesitate to smile and treat guest from the depth of their hearts, the guest who visits them. The people form all over the world who comes here no doubt they had been surprised and attracted to our hospitality and smile. |
In villages we still see the continuation of warmth attitude of loving people that our culture created. The peace and happy conditions in villages made me decide to venture into a project where people from all parts of the world, specially from japan the country and people I love, to get taste of our culture that still remain unspoiled in the villages. With this aim the Home Stay Project was formulated.
But unfortunately these types friendliness inherited from our culture has been draining away from our people with globalization and new generation. Even at present you can see the different in between our city area and the villages.Villages still remain uncorrupted with commercialization.In cities money has become a weapon. Money will spoil the culture. Money will make the people dull lot.
